Ice Skating

Crunching snow, don’t let go.

Laces tight, full of fright.

Smooth and sleek, no time to freak.

Cheeks a glow, watch that elbow!

Colorful yarn, fall down…Darn!

Legs entwined, let’s unwind.

You take my hand, I try to stand.

Swirling dances, take some chances.

Snowflake kisses, angel wishes.

Crunching snow, don’t let go.

  1. The essence of this poem is the experience life and the importance of our relationships. We live as we travel connected to one another, supporting one another and helping each other to stand on our skates of life.
